There were a lot of smiles at our Valiant Old Testament activity at the end of May. Brains were put into gear with the Old Testament “Guess Who” game. Some characters were familiar and easy to guess such as Eve and Moses, but some were less well known, including Abigail and Rahab.

The Valiants got down to business and packed snack bags for The Mustard Seed, and they got creative and decorated birthday gift bags! These bags will be part of a birthday kit that supports families and is distributed by Made By Momma. When Primary leaders delivered the snack bags to The Mustard Seed, they were received with lots of smiles and thank-you’s! We filled 108 Snack Bags!!!
Each Valiant-aged child in attendance created a page for our Book of Remembrance, reflecting the testimonies of the children in the Nose Hill Stake Primary. The book will be visiting each Ward Primary over the next few months, and then be available to view in the Stake Offices. As the book visits each ward, Valiant-aged children will be invited to complete their own page if they didn’t get a chance at the activity. Their pages will be added to the book, too!
In the cultural hall, the Valiants completed an obstacle course where they crossed the Red Sea, were swallowed by a great fish, and mounted an assault against Goliath!
Snacks were enjoyed by all! We had a wonderful time as Valiant members of the Stake Primary! We look forward to next year :D
